Simple Monkey Smoothie

Adapted from Simple Green Smoothies

We’re not monkeying around when we say this creamy, chocolatey treat is oh-so-delicious! It tastes so good that you kind of wonder how it can be good for you. Bananas are packed with potassium, which is essential for the muscular and skeletal systems (we like happy bones, too!). Almond butter adds a boost of healthy fats to keep you fueled for hours.


Simple Monkey Smoothie​
(Serves 2)


  • 2 cups spinach

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk

  • 3 bananas

  • 4 Tablespoons cacao powder

  • 2 Tablespoons almond butter


1. Blend the spinach and almond milk until smooth.

2. Add the bananas, cacao powder, and almond butter and blend again.
