Ginger Spice Smoothie

This creamy, spiced, low-carb smoothie is a great way to start your day and get it into fat-burning mode. As an added bonus, ginger is also great for digestion.

Ginger Spice Smoothie
(Makes 1 serving)
Per serving: (1 1/2 cups): 400 calories,  31 g fat, 4 g saturated fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 7 g fiber, 13 g protein, 19 g carbohydrate, 30 mg sodium

Ingredients:
1 cups almond or cashew milk
2 tablespoons raw almond butter
2 teaspoons grated ginger
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Optional: 1 handful baby spinach or greens of choice

Directions:
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
