Potato chips are one of the classic American snacks. They're salty, crispy, and available in about a zillion different flavors, but their deep-fried preparation means they're also complete threats to an otherwise healthy diet.
That's why—like with most other foods—the homemade (read: healthier) way is the best way.
"Going the DIY route means you can control the quality of the produce, and you can control how they're seasoned," says Molly Morgan, RD. "It's not that potatoes are not nutrient rich, it's the process of how they're made, and that's why it's worth going through the homemade process."
Forget potatoes (we know, it’s hard), and dive into these alternative veggie chips.
